Responsibilities

We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our team, responsible for the commissioning and delivery of CCTV systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CCTV systems, along with project management skills to oversee the successful implementation, testing, and operational commissioning of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • CCTV System Commissioning:
  • Oversee the commissioning process of CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and validation.
  • Ensure CCTV systems meet all technical requirements and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the commissioning phase.

Project Management:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of CCTV installation and commissioning projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to align on project objectives and milestones.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Client Interaction:

  • Communicate with clients to understand their CCTV needs and provide technical recommendations.
  • Coordinate site visits and ensure proper installation based on client requirements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction during the commissioning process and provide post-installation support.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
  • Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems after installation, including image quality, system integration, and operational functionality.
  • Ensure systems are fully operational and meet security standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and ensure accurate documentation of all procedures and configurations.
  • Ensure all project documentation (installation guides, manuals, test reports) is updated and available.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the project team, including engineers, technicians, and installers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide training and technical support to junior staff as needed.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues during commissioning and propose solutions to mitigate delays or technical failures.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations during the commissioning process.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 + years of experience in CCTV systems commissioning or similar technical project management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV systems (IP cameras, DVR/NVRs, network configuration, etc.).
  • Experience with system integration, network setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and industry standards for CCTV systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with client-facing roles and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Fieldwork required, including site visits for commissioning and testing.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for project meetings and inspections.
