Deputy Manager-Product Development (X-Ray)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in the development of X-ray baggage scanners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical hardware design and electro-mechanical components. You will be responsible for integration of mechanical structure, electrical panel, wiring/harnessing, software systems and configurations. You will be responsible for creating standard operating procedures and detailed test plan for product validation against qualitative requirements and customer specifications as well as documenting and maintaining the test plans for all the experiments/investigations/innovations. You will be responsible for electrical audits and root cause analysis for any observations/failures on product/sub-system such as VFDs, motors, isolation transformers, EMI/EMC filters, relays, surge protection devices, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with an experience of at least 6 to 8 years working in engineering labs on complex mechanical/electricalsystem development.
• Should have the good knowledge and understanding of Electrical Equipment.
• Understanding and working experience with Motors, Variable Frequency Drives
• Able to debug, troubleshoot electrical Panels & Harnesses for electrical faults.
• Should have understanding and experience in Electrical Equipment Protections – over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, under-current, surge, EMI/EMC, noise, etc.
• Should have very good understanding of the components like MCCBs, switchgear, relays, transformers, stabilizers, etc.
• Experience in Electronics circuit design and troubleshooting will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated capability to manage project activities while working as an IndividualContributor.
