Basic Functions/Job Responsibility

Preparation of design concepts and perform experiments to determine potential design feasibility for proposed application and machines.
Building prototypes; evaluating and documenting their performance.
Value engineering for identifying possible improvements and optimization.
Exploring new and existing materials and methods to solve design challenges.
Utilizing 3D CAD/Other Tools (Solid works & Auto CAD) to create and modify structure and components.
Creating engineering drawings, test plans, and technical reports.
Co-ordination with all stake holders and concerned departments for integration and validation of final assembly.
Assisting in the creation and release of Product Requirements, Design Specifications, and Design Descriptions for assigned designs, applicable standards and procedures.
Research and Review of various Raw material and Components for selection.
Design Failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) based on similar existing technology in company.
Product design analysis and detailed BOM preparation

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

Qualification: E/B.Tech/ MBA / M.tech, Bsc./Msc
