Project Technical Manager (Aviation)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Project/Technical Manager to lead and manage security system projects including X-ray screening, Enterprise Analytics, Under Vehicle Scanner, CCTV surveillance, Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), IT Networking, and other security solutions within airport environment. Candidate should have strong technical expertise, project management experience, and background of working in aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of security system projects within airports, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
• Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on expertise in X-ray screening, Enterprise Analytics, Under Vehicle Scanner, CCTV surveillance, Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), IT Networking and integrated security solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with airport stakeholders, regulatory bodies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with security standards and operational requirements.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all security solutions adhere to aviation security regulations and industry best practices.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Evaluate and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers for the successful deployment of security systems.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and incident response planning for critical airport infrastructure.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, technical reports, and compliance records.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Security Management, Aviation or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in project management within the security systems domain, preferably in aviation or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of airport security protocols, IT networking, and electronic surveillance systems.
• Experience with X-ray baggage scanners, Enterprise Analytics, Under Vehicle Scanner, CCTV systems, biometric authentication, FRS, and access control.
• Familiarity with airport security regulations and global compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
