Traditional baggage scanners rely on X-ray attenuation technology to detect potential threats. This technology works by measuring how different objects attenuate X-ray beams as they pass through them. However, in recent years, the capabilities of these scanners have been improved with the introduction of dual-energy/view X-ray scanners. By using Dual View Technology, these scanners are able to provide two screening perspectives, enhancing the operator’s ability to accurately and quickly identify security threats. One such advanced dual-energy X-ray baggage scanner is the KritiScan® 100100 DV, developed by Vehant Technologies. This scanner features a tunnel size of 1000 mm (W) x 1000 mm (H) and utilizes innovative dual-view technology to generate both horizontal and vertical views of the inspected object.
