Vehant’s Research Laboratory is guided and funded directly by the top management. Vehant Technologies aims to create a vibrant in-house ecosystem and strong collaboration, in order to sustain the company’s growth.
The major activities undertaken at VRL
The broad outcome of Vehant’s Research Laboratory is to generate the know-how for Vehant’s products and filing patents. The Lab shall clearly identify the deliverables for the research group and establish assessment of research work clubbed with incentives on the basis of deliverables. VRL shall collaborate with academic and research institutions with an objective to fund the research.
Vehant intends to build a strong research ecosystem by collaborating with academia. The objective is to strengthen the R&D abilities of the company in pursuing new opportunities in futuristic technology trends, through student fellowships, internships and consulting faculty members. Vehant’s research team collaboratively works with faculty and students of IIT-Delhi.
Vehant Technologies signed the MoU with Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi and we are executing the collaboration successfully for 2 years, leading the Vehant Fellows to work on the problems full time from the office. Vehant’s researchers collaborate with the researchers of IIT Mandi with mutual interest on developing enhanced applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies in security screening solutions. Dr. Venkata Krishnan, Dean Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy & International Relations (SRIC & IR), IIT Mandi, said, “This program will mutually benefit both the stakeholders in terms of acquiring technology competence and academic excellence in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This initiative will help us in addressing the unique industry problem statements while ensuring real time technical exposure to our students.”
We are delighted to unveil our latest achievement, a strategic partnership with IIT Jodhpur, marking the fourth significant milestone in our history of industry-academia collaborations after IIT Mandi, IIT Delhi & IIIT Delhi. The signing of this partnership has garnered high praise from Professor Surajit Banerjee, Dean of (IR, AR & CR), IIT Jodhpur, and Dr. M. Balakrishnan, former professor at IIT Delhi.
Vehant has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IIIT-Delhi for sponsoring upto 5 students every year enrolled in M. Tech program, with an intent to create and build research collaboration with the academy for mutual as well as society’s benefit. This is a long-term engagement and Vehant has the benefit of the mindshare of the researchers at IIIT-Delhi. The researchers from the institute avail the opportunities of working on real life problems, data sets as well as a platform for design and development apart from funding. The program further led Vehant Fellows to join Vehant full time to work on the problems.
Vehant collaborated with the esteemed National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT-C) aimed at driving excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML). In this innovative partnership, we have joined to co-teach and collaborate on a series of AI/ML projects. Together, we are committed to empowering tomorrow’s innovators and propelling the frontier of technology forward.
We are pleased to host Practice School (PS) students from BITS, Pilani since 2023. Students join us at Vehant Technologies for a 6-month internship program. The students work on various projects under close supervision of Vehant’s research team throughout the internship.
